I offer several consultation services:
1) Support on your mental health process' next steps.
Are you thinking of starting therapy but unsure of which type of therapist/therapy modality would fit your needs the best? Are you unhappy with your current therapist and wanting to learn about alternative options? Would you like to learn about other ways that your lifestyle and mental health could be supported outside of therapy? Let's meet! Consultation includes a single session (45-75 minutes) geared towards helping people interested in learning more about different kinds of therapy and where to start (or go next) on their mental health journey. As part of this consultation, I will leave you with at least three concrete referrals/resources for the next steps in your journey.
Price: $200
2) Consults with folks interested in becoming therapists.
In 1-3 meetings (50 minutes each), I will help you learn more about the reality of the process to become a therapist. I will answer any questions you have and share essential information to help you in making the big decision around this career choice. I can also help you decide between different therapist career paths (MFT, LPCC, LCSW, PsyD, or PhD). I will use my background in higher education advising to guide you in actionable steps to achieve your goals.
Price: $175 per meeting

How I Work
I integrate several evidence-based modalities to meet every person’s unique needs. In our initial therapy sessions, we will create a treatment plan that will lay out your goals and the methods we agree on to help get you there.
If you’re curious to learn more, here is some information on my primary approaches to practicing therapy.
Relational and Humanistic Therapy
The foundation of my work is rooted in the understanding that the relationship between you and me is the most healing. That is also the conclusion of all scientific research - No matter the approach, the most predictive variable of successful therapy outcomes is the strength of the “therapeutic alliance”. That means that I will bring our dynamic into the therapy room. I will also explore how your “attachment” patterns show up and may impact your mental health. I strive to show up with empathy, warmth, and validation throughout our work.
Psychodynamic Therapy
The whole of our lives informs our present. I use a psychodynamic lens to uncover how your formative years have shaped you and how you view yourself, others, and the world. We will ask deeper questions, analyze dreams, do creative practices, and follow where your thoughts take you to better understand the parts of yourself in hiding and ready to emerge.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT…pronounced “act”) incorporates the wisdom of classic cognitive behavioral therapies with mindfulness and values-based, intentional practices. I will help you learn to stop “fighting” and “struggling against” your uncomfortable feelings, and instead learn to work with them.
Existential Therapy
I have found that many people have seemingly “perfect” lives, or have even worked on their mental health for years and are doing much better…but…there’s still a little something at the end of the day getting them down. Existential therapy helps us address the pain that comes with existence. I am here and ready to dig into your biggest “What’s the point?” questions, your senses of dread, your fears of death, your burdens.
Pain Reprocessing Therapy
I hold an Advanced Application Certification for practicing Pain Reprocessing Therapy. PRT is a scientific approach used to treat chronic pain. PRT works by helping you to forge a safer relationship with pain and your body. It involves guided mindfulness practices and learning more about the nature of chronic pain. Please note: I do not offer PRT as a stand-alone treatment - it is incorporated into our general psychotherapy work.
